Anyone who knows anything about a genetic inconvenience called Dysmetabolic Iron Overload Syndrome knows it’s no fun but necessary to remove your blood & get the ferritin levels down. Yesterday’s phlebotomy was the most painful I’ve had since April 2022. Things didn’t go smoothly with the needle so after 5 min of trying to get a blood flow it was moved to the other arm.
